I dunno... seemed kinda interesting... still sick... and 2.5 pages left to write... arg... back to work!
In any case as I was lying in bed and dreaming I could swear I thought i was staring at my computer clock which said the time was 1:31pm... after which I promptly woke up, somewhat and remained still... thinking of whether it was that time or not. After about a minute the phone rang and my roommate picked up the phone, saying, "No he's asleep" at which point i raised my as to indicate the contrary... my efferts were noticed and I was eventually handed the phone... while at the same time i looked at the clock on my radio... which said the time was 1:32... As it turned out, the caller was my mother, who had just gotten off the phone with my uncle phred, who had just recieved devastating news via AIM: His mother, (my grandmother) had been hit by a car while going for a walk and died instantly. I'd say something more about the impersonality of recieving such news through an instant messenger, considering my grandfather sent it... but that just seems out of place... in fact I dont even really know why im writing this right now.... i just felt a need to say something. I'll miss you Ba Noi.
Aside from being a test on whether iu wrote this correctly to allow me to put HTML directly into my news postings, i found it rather interesting that i came out to be r2d2... but oh well.. this week will be hell with 2 prelims, one in econ 301 and one in physics 112, not fun, plus a paper... and much homework... oh well.. i'll not be gettiong much sleep.. plus im currently feeling a bit under the weather.. which is really a bad time for that.. but being sick seems to come at the most inopportune times. Oh well.. my dreams having content on this site will probably be postponed indefiantely.. seeing as i still have yet to find an inspiration.
damn... its already 1:14... and i still have a paper to finish... back to work...
I cant think of what could possibly be more annoying than trying to work with fullscreen mode.. after about an hour of messing around with it i still have yet to get it to work as i want... well... i compromised and now it works mostly... only when you switch from fullscreen to normal does this seem to be an issue... dumping you back in the skizzers main directory... by itself it seems to work fine though... who'd think that a window made in fullscreen mode causes all windows following it made form a full one to be full too.. even if you tell it not too... oh well... maybe i'll find the answer someday... you can switch between full and regular mode in the settings tag found in the menu on the left... which now hightlights when mouseovered... which should hopefully reveal its existance to users... i have no idea how compatible this is so yeah... feedback woul be nice.
and on another note.. it is once again th wee hours of the morning. hopefully today i'll be up for my classes though.. seeing as i have a quiz at 8 in the mornin... well.. the alarm is set as a back-up. i detest 8am classes... but then again i know no one who likes em. I should probably make a php script that shows older news as well.. but thats not too important right now... i think my next project will be to make some more content... something this place sorely lacks... all i have so far is a great gui to show off nothing... *yawn* and thats it for me.. time for bed.
I think i'm *almost* ready to begin making actual content for the site... so yeah. Although what exactly i'll put up.. seeing as i still have yet to program anything here... and stuff... aside from this page... well... thats about it for now.
