
My Character Modelling assignment demanded a 5000-polygon character with a normal map, fully textured using a 2024x2024 texture map, as well as rigged for animation. The character was to bear some facial resemblance to my own face, but otherwise the design was mostly up to me so long as it was within the 'Teesside Superheroes' brief. Instead of a superhero, I designed a supervillain and I had a lot of fun with the character design. Modelling was fairly straightforward although creating my first normal map was quite a challenge!
