waah. me sad elf. die.
I like drawing elves, I think ^_^ Anyway, this was just me, trying to get the hang of that annoying yet potentially powerful graphics program known as Painter 5. It doesn't use layers, as far as I can determine (argh), and it doesn't seem to like opening images that were made in Photoshop - even .bmp's! I drew a cool looking elf in it the other day, and I saved it as a .rif because that seemed to be the default Painter extension. However, when I went to open it up again later to show Aqua, Painter confessed that it had no idea whatsoever what kind of file this was! Grr! It has the most amazing tools, such as the wonderful-for-fairy-dust-trails Seurat, and the cool Just Add Water brush - perfect for blending. But the main drawback is the lack of layers, and that it won't let me save images with transparent backgrounds. *sigh*
