july 2005
hello internet. i have been busy. the past two months have been a blur because of it. in the past two months, i have:
- completed grand theft auto: san andreas for the second time
- completed pariah, a game which i hope to never hear about ever again
- completed god of war, which deserves nowhere near the amount of praise it recieves
- attended a two-day marathon lanparty, where i repeatedly killed many people
- attended another mc chris concert
- paid for music, in actual disc form
- brainstormed / designed / re-designed / and finally launched a new website
- taught myself how to use, theme, and create plugins for wordpress in the process of the immediately preceding item
- sent a former site into prolonged stasis as a result of the two preceding items
- suffered through large quantities of unnecessary bullshit drama, which is thankfully now over
- finally been admitted to USF as a direct result of completing my journey through said unnecessary bullshit drama
- purchased a new laptop as a reward for survivng through the two immediately preceding items
- consumed more litres of code red mountain dew than i would like to really think about
- worked. lots.
- apparently done quite a few other things as well, but i can't really recall them off the top of my head.
i'm sorry, that list kinda fell apart at the end. it's hard keeping track of all the things keeping me from writing here. generally, i'd be writing about them here, but lately i've been busy enough with
them that i haven't had time to even log in to my happy little edit form.
fixing up the idw is my next project, now that dpad is up and kicking [and already pulling down hundreds of hits per day, pretty good for a site that's less just barely two weeks old]. there won't be a huge restructuring, but definitely a streamlining and redesign. bother. it's five, and i don't have a convenient "SAVE AS DRAFT" feature like in wordpress, so i guess that's going to have to be It for my first post after being away for two months.
