i just moved at work. ever since before i even started here, there had been plans to expand into larger space. previously, we just occupied one side of one wing of the floor, but now we've torn down a wall and have moved in to occupy about a third of the first floor. we are large like the xbox.

anyways, with this change, everyones offices are shuffling around. previously i was in a rather large room with three people, now i get to take up a smaller space with another guy who's only here twice a week. only problem is, there's no furniture in here. no wall units, no cubes, nothing. so it's just me in a plain white room with my computer on a foldout table. and my coworker isn't here today, so it's seriously JUST me. and no one else has had time to shift into the new space, so i'm it.

what does this mean? well, it means i now have even less supervision. which is . but i didn't have a whole lot of supervision or stuff to do in the first place. i enjoy getting questions like "hay jeff i don't want to interrupt you but when you get a minute could you test this?" when i've been sitting here transcribing a thread into a giant wiki article for the past hour. its fun, because it looks like work. and i guess actually IS work, just not work i'm supposed to be doing.

anyways, pictures of my new office have been taken, and will be posted Later. and then no one will view them. [03.24.05@11:54]

fun fact: everyone i have ever seen cnn report about for no reason other than the fact that they have a blog has been an overweight woman.

what this says about the internet, or the state of "the blogosphere" - which is the worst word ever concocted on the internets, far surpassing 90% of the shit that shows up in wired's jargon watch column - i do not know. i believe we currently have far too little data to draw a conclusion.
