today is is cleaning day. i moved a bunch of stuff around, pruned a bunch of content that really didn't need to exist, and updated my sorely outdated bio page. i reorganized the navigation bits, too. also ported the title script from javascript to php, something i should've done a long time ago. hmm.. . what else . . oh, i updated some of the css, and in the process broke compatibility with versions of ie prior to 6sp1. though, i really don't care. it's a free update you should do anyways if you use ie, it patches up some of the exploits, and greatly improves how it handles some important things like the box object model.

or you can use a browser that doesn't suck, like phoenix or mozilla or hell, even lynx.

i guess all that's left for me to do is make some kind of a nag line at the top of all pages here that detects for all versions of ie that aren't 6sp1, and then yells at you and tells you to get a browser that doesn't suck. i'd do it now, but ER is starting. <3 <3 ER.

hm. i also have to get around to fixing edit thingie. it doesn't insert dates properly anymore. another thing that shouldn't be too incredibly difficult to fix, but just something i don't feel like doing right now. it'll probably have to wait until after i finish up skifyre.com, and after i finish the newlife anime redesign. both of those should be done by the end of the year. skifyre.com by my birthday hopefully. it'll be my present to myself, a vehicle for more work. aaaand back to ER.
