i'm really sorry, but i've just been a bit too busy lately. [02.06.02@13:00]

i'm redesigning. i think lucky [v.13] gets points for being one of the longest-standing designs i've had. clocking in at what i believe is around 7 months. i consider this track the thing that motivated me to get working. why? i have no bloody idea, and probably won't for quite awhile. further updates as they become available. [02.17.02@03:50]

ZERO JUDGES YOU! blazing through in well under 24 hrs we have xiv. i also found out that i now have a completely modular site. i've reached the point where my content is completely independent of the design. so like, to update my site all i had to do was upload around 5 files. <3 <3 <3 php. also, people can stop complaining about my sites not taking up space, cause now they do. they take up the same percentage of the page for all resolutions, due to some script-fu passed down to me by andre. its slightly arcane stuff, but it works rather seamlessly. the only bug that exists is that you can't use a mouse wheel to scroll in mozilla 0.9.8. i, as always, blame that on mozilla being stupid. the page has terminal issues under earlier builds of mozilla, but i still see it like this: if you want to use an opensource browser, its your job to keep it updated. they don't put out nightly builds and frequent milestones just for you to look at.

what else . . . oh, i also removed some stuff i didn't feel like keeping. if you want it back, feel free to yell at me. the front page will be updated . . some time . . i just have to reach over and get andy's graphire tablet, and hope the radiator hasn't melted it too badly. in the meantime, feel free to stare into zero's big blue eyes.

upcoming projects? i currently have this on my plate:

just a few important things. you know how it goes. and in the meantime i have to squeeze in such things as school and working 5 hrs every other day. so . . yeah . i've got this bit out of the way, at least. [02.18.02@01:58]

now testing the amazing edit thingie v1.0. yes, jeff has finally buckled and written his own update script. but no, it has none of this pansy shite in it, with automatic links, or automatic date time stamping . . hrm . . that might be good. i need to write that bit. something that'll magically convert a fed php command to a timestamp in the actual file. that'd be slick, and i swear there must be a way to do it. i just have to prod it a bit. i say this because i have a nice standardized timedate stamp, [MM.DD.YY@HH:NN], and i have it mapped to f5 within editpad. but i don't have that here. BUT I SHOULD! so there MUST BE A WAY! i'll work on that whilst i'm at work today.

i have an exam in two hours. i think i'll watch some anime prior to going. possibly another episode or five of the horrible burning death that is jubei chan. i really hate the show. i hate so many aspects of it that i don't completely know where to start. but i keep watching it. why? because it's better than noir. i gave noir a chance of 26 episodes and it never redeemed itself. jubei chan at least deserves the 13 episodes it consists of. alright, time to try saving this bitch, and hope i don't get another magic 0b file. [02.22.02@06:19]

oh, hell. it needs a stripslashes() command in there somewhere. badly. [02.22.02@06:21]

lets try this guy one more time. [02.22.02@06:25]

alright, looks like it works fine. tomorrow i get to figure out how to make it do timestamp-ish bits. i bet i could make a closer button in javascript that picks wherever i am currently and makes that the end point, by slapping a timestamp and two line breaks in. oh well, i'll figure that bit out later today. or sometime tomorrow, it depends on how badly i crash when i get back from work at five. in the meantime, i do things manually. [02.22.02@06:28]

welcome to lazy day. i don't feel like doing anything today. but the edit thingie is done. and it now has semi-f5-compatibility. and i'm running seriously low on blood sugar, so its time to further clutter my desk by popping open another mountain dew.

i'd stack them, but then i couldn't see my monitor. [02.23.02@12:22]

la la la. alright, edit thingie is pretty much done now. i had some features i was going to add, but they for some reason didn't work. they'll still go in the source, for some day when i get really bored and feel like picking apart php file functions. in the meantime, for around the first time this semester we have real food the room's fridge. seriously. its scary. and its all because my stomach decided that even though i missed dinner last night, that two slices of pizza was more than enough. anyways, i'll be adding my last lynx compatibility design update in around 20 minutes, i just have to write it. it won't take long, its just something i keep putting off.

and then i think i'm going to sleep! hooray! sleep! [02.24.02@08:11]
