most disturbing moment of the day: fell asleep watching PCU on comedy central. this was normal. when i woke up, southpark was on. everyone was in the classroom. problem: everyone had anime eyes. the generic banter was all in japanese. i didnt have a chance to get a screenshot of this, because i was too confused, too busy attempting to figure out what the fuck was going on and failing.
anime in southpark-style is disturbing. we saw this exhibited in furi kuri. but nothing is more disturbing than southpark in anime-style. i'm going to go try to stop thinking again now. [04.07.01@21:33]
its a bad sign when mcdonalds decides their menu is too hard for people to comprehend, right? i mean it isn't that hard. sure, its one thing to trim the 87 extraneous meals off their menu, but did they really need to add a fake new menu thats the "ATTENTION CUSTOMERS. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE OTHER SHITE ON THE MENU. YOU WILL ORDER SOMETHING FROM THIS SELECTION OF FOUR (4) FOOD-LIKE ITEMS. AND YOU WILL LIKE IT." i mean, wasnt this kinda the idea of value menus? i mean, hell, that got it down to the point that at most eating establishments you can just say "NUMBER THREE." and that magically equates to a full-size meal. does it really need to be much simpler than that? i mean, the only thing more efficient than that would be the kind of deal where every establishment sells only two items. the efficiency that would result would allow for more locations to be made. and more lines per location. and less time in line. it'd be like a soup line, but more interesting.
