netscape pisses me off. flat out. actually, its mozilla's fault. bloody thing wont listen to me at all. i've found *two* different ways to do this design using nothing but css that work perfectly fscking fine in internet exploiter, but *none* that even start to think about working in netscape6.1/mozilla14.. at least i solved the "hey, ye' know, i'm just going to slide under the big image here" problem.. next up is the "but i dont want to go on the right side of the screen, it's icky" issue. damn thing wont listen to me. it thinks that 0px from the right side of the screen means null value. idea! switch 0 with 1. 's just a pixel, it wont be noticed, but it'll give the damn thing a value. why cant it just accept 0 as an interger?.. bastard.. it must be destroyed immediately. [04.15.00@18:38]
mm. yes, i have an unhealthy addiction to megaman. yes, i just payed around $30 for three action figures, only two of which i'm interested in. yes i probably need professional help. but i dont really care. 's the only frivolous stuff i've bought in awhile now.. i mean, lets see.. the last things i bought like this were the two posters i got back at the toy show, and the few vintage sw figures i picked up there. mm. gyahh. buggrit. well. looks like i'm needed elsewhere. i'll be back later, for my official peak time of the graveyard shift.. i've got nothing to do tomorrow, so i can sit around here til 07:00 or so. ah've got this feeling right now. 's one thats kinda tough to explain, cause.. well.. its a feeling.. feelings are leik that. lets see. perchance it'll make more sense with a little friendly story. my house is set up so that theres this hallway that connects the two halves of the house. my bedroom and bathroom are on the west-end of the hallway. on the east end of the hallway, ye have th' game room, where my computer currently exists. now, the hallway isnt really that much of a hallway. directly adjacent to it [on the north side] is the dining room, which is just a big recessed room. now, i hate the dining room. the carpet there has always sucked royally. apparently, several eons before i was born, my 'rents decided it'd be a great idea to paper-train a dog in there. it worked, kinna, but due to bleed-thru, the carpet was ruined. each successive dog decided they needed to take it upon themselves to re-mark that room. since the initial one, i think theres been around 4 dogs to use the dining room as their nicely sized restroom. anyways, i absolutely hate having to walk in there. the carpet just feels wrong. i have to step in there occasionally, usually by accident.
how does this factor in at all? one of the second worst feelings [next to actually stepping in there] is losing my balance when i'm on the edge. knowing that if i dont recover, and give myself some momentum in the other direction real fast, that i'll be stepping in 30 years worth of excrement-stained carpet. right now i feel like i just lost my balance, or have been in the process of losing my balance for a bit. i'm not quite sure this is related to anything in particular, just in general. because of this, i cant quite place what i need to start headed in the other direction with.
long story short, something tells me i'll be washing my feet of in the near future. [04.19.00@20:15]
well finally.. it appears i really have things under control right now. everything here really works in all the ways i can test it.. not quite sure if it'll work in the aol browser, but hey.. we'll find out later.. nowthen. ah'm kinna pissed off for a few reasons. first because everyone at the cable company is incompetent. second, because.. ur.. something.. i just dunt what the hell is going on here? is *everyone* deciding to pop up here at 01:30? first seb and now mikel.. mm.. less go test the new digs.. hrmm.. wonner if anyone's responded to my shiny 'appy post aboot daikatana yet. hrmm.. possible.. nope. oh well, there'll be a response or two tomorrow^Wlater today..
my megaman stuff really should be getting in shortly.. if i'm right, both the megaman import akshun figger and the [second] cd from paul should be getting in on monday. ok, time to go off on a tangent that came!!! out!!! of!!! nowhere!!! karma korner. no one prolly knows what i'm talking about here. let me explain. see, as long as i can remember, theres been this great little shop at university mall. it was called cutlery and more. the front window prominently displayed a huge full suit of armour.. this was the kind of place where ye could get any kind of large sharp object with no questions asked.. this is the kind of place i'd expect shawn and pete from the KNIFE COLLECTORS SHOW would hang out.. lossa shiny stuff. well. apparently while i wasnt paying attention, cutlery and more went away. no one quite knows where they went off to, or when.. but they arent there anymore. in their place is a horrifying place, known as
