Nicole Kidman's response to an interview question from Redbook:
Q: What has been the hardest, but most surprising, thing about being single?
A: I suppose having a sense of independence and freedom is surprising. At the same time that's hard, because I very much liked being in a relationship, and I liked that feeling of having a best friend. The hardest thing is losing that and then also having to take care of yourself, by yourself.
