Being helpless, that was high on his list of fears. Bugs were climbing the list. Wraiths, too. They’d probably make the #1 spot soon. Assuming he survived this. Death? Death was on there. Mostly it was the fear of dying with regrets, with things left undone – or unsaid. Dying on an immobile ship, far from Atlantis, he couldn’t say it properly. Face to face. Maybe that was good.
