Easychair Symphony is the eighth incarnation of my personal gallery site. Here, you'll find a small collection of my artwork from 2003-2007. The content of the galleries is as follows:

Sketches: Character design, costume design, and doodling.
Digital:  Two and three-dimensional artwork.
Traditional: Paper, paint, pastel, and pencil. Everything but pixels.
Photography: Just what it says. Entirely digital at this time.

Well, I almost made it to two years without updating.

As with the last much-needed update, I've added new images and removed some of the old ones. It was a one-for-one rehaul, so each new image took the place of an old one. As a result, the gallery icons were shuffled a bit.

New images are now being placed in the upper left corner. In the previous system, images were listed alphabetically. Since the bulk of my work was created during the course of about 18 months, I didn't feel any pressing need to preserve choronology. Now that I've gone two years with very little presentable work, I now feel the need to highlight what little I have to put up, if only through this subtle and widly accepted concept of picture order.

Sketches: Six new images.
Digital: Two new images.
Traditional: Regretfully neglected.
Photography: One new image.

There's also been a few more typo fixes, as well as a change to some page titles. All stuff most people wont notice, but for which I kicked myself when I saw them.

Well, I almost made it to one year without updating.

Each gallery has had both new images added and old images removed. Everything was jumbled up in the redesign, so there's no pattern to what icon went where. Hunt around and remind yourself of those imaged you loved/hated in search of fresh meat. To make your life a little easier:

Sketches: Five new images
Digital: Two new images, Little Wonder Guidebook images in a new gallery.
Traditional: One new image
Photography: Little Men Take On the World gallery added.

I've also added a new system that came about as part of my final Flash project. In the Digital and Photography galleries you'll find large icons that send you to project galleries. This cuts down on the number of pictures on the page, while also grouping images that were really never meant to be displayed alone.

I've gone through and deleted all the old images and files left sitting out to create confusion. My image naming system was also drastically simplified. While this might mean nothing to you, it meant renaming 250+ files by hand in hopes of making my future updates a little easier. Fortunatly, Dreamweaver auto-fixes my links, so I didn't need to stab myself in the eye to relieve the pain of also redoing every page.

I've started a long-awaited revamp. In order to accomodate the work from my digital photography class, I've created a new gallery. Since I don't intend on doing any new 3D work anytime in the near future, I've also melded my two digital art galleries into one beautiful, long page.

I have one silly new image in the Digital gallery in addition to the meld. New sketches from my life drawing sessions and work from my painting class will be ready sometime in the next week. (I might be lying, but I'll try.)

I still want to put up a webdesign gallery, but I need to find my old sites and figure out the mechanics of using an old gallery as a portfolio piece. I'll also need to alter the site design to accomodate a fifth navigation option.

It's been a slow art month.
Well, not really. I busted my hump getting a ton of work done before finals, but none of it is gallery stuff. Mainly text layouts and tiny, quickly done sketches.

Three new Sketches. I also re-scanned the character design I added in my last update.

Three new pieces up this weekend!

Over in Digital 2D, you'll find projects from my typography and design classes. There's also an almost done but badly scaned Morrowind character design in Sketches.

All new images are added to the bottom of the gallery list.

Woohoo! The site has officially been redesigned. This means that my first official Dreamweaver project (a.k.a. my midterm), is half finished. No more php errors, no more absolute links that cause screwiness, just happy slappy artsy fun for everyone.

This version of ES was trimmed down pretty drastically. I've gone from 100+ images to about 35, half of which are new content. This is not a bad thing. However, I haven't run the pages through spellcheck, so please pardon any major goofs.
